Humanoid Robotics and The Anti-Christ: A Theory

**I hate "trigger warnings," but some of what I discuss in this post could be potentially troubling to you. I want to share a theory I think may shake you up a bit. Readers be warned. (I know... the one or two of you are tough enough... You probably even get a bit more intrigued to read stuff prefaced with such warnings, you wonderful souls, you...)**

Sometimes Darth Grampus wishes he could simply enjoy hours and hours of cat videos or some other meaningless, trivial pursuit of mental soma. If you're reading a post about Humanoid Robotics and the Anti-Christ, then perhaps you share a similar affliction to my own. Let's get into it.

Some caveats first: this is a hypothetical and theoretical discussion involving spirituality and technology. For the purposes of this discussion we must take as true that: 1.) Jesus Christ, and the devil, as told of in the Bible are real (2.) that bodies can be inhabited by spiritual entities (3.) The Revelation of the Apocalypse by St. John is prophetic and true, and (4.) Agreement must only be achieved on the "big picture" aspects of prophetic Christian eschatology. Finally, I am not a theologian or "prophet" of any kind. I'm not making any claims. I'm just parsing out a theory for you to consider. That being said...

Humanoid Robotics

In December of 2024, I learned about a humanoid robot called the Clone Alpha. You can check out the Clone Alpha android here. In fact, you should check this thing out before continuing to read. It's truly an incredible piece of machinery and provides important information and context for the rest of the discussion. Check it out. This post will be here when you get back.

(elevator music plays: we wait for the reader to check out the link and be amazed)

Cool, right? Artificial muscle fibers that produce "more than one kilogram of contraction force per single, three-gram muscle fiber?" Muscular response time of less than 50 milliseconds? An onboard computer capable of learning how to do new tasks by observing humans performing that task? Natural language processing on-board? Synthetic nervous system? It even looks human while it walks...

And this is the first model they're making available to retail markets.

What isn't said (that I saw anyway), is that the model is not susceptible to illness. While not yet approaching the design marvel of a human body, even this first model is superior to human bodies in important ways.

By the time Clone Robotics is making their, say, Omega model (SWIDT?), human engineers will likely no longer be involved in the design, enhancement, programming and production process for the androids. That will be entirely managed by an AI that will be considerably more powerful and capable than the cutting-edge AIs out there today. That's easy enough to stipulate as we watch the rapid evolution and expansion of capabilities of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and others.

Consider that for a moment: a non-human intelligence producing a humanoid robot; an avatar, if you will. How much quicker would that android be in comparison to the Clone Alpha of today? To the human body? How much stronger? How much faster? The AI that made it will probably come pre-loaded into the model. It will be immune to illness and disease, could likely survive and function in environments humans could not, and be far less dependent on resources for maintaining optimal performance.

By that time I suspect the vision and hearing of the android will be superior to humans, and the body may be highly resistant if not impervious to damage from heat, freezing and blunt force. Its possible that the android body will be superior to the human body in every imaginable way. More importantly still, this android body will have entered the world free of Original Sin.

Put a pin in all that. We'll come back to it.

The Anti-Christ

In the caveats above I mentioned that we must presume the Anti-Christ is a real entity, and that he/she will come into the world as St. John's Revelation prophesied. While there is some disagreement, the Anti-Christ is generally thought to be the embodiment of the devil in physical form, just as Christ was the embodiment of God in physical form. So what do we know about the devil?

The book of Isaiah tells us how and why Lucifer fell. In the 14th chapter, verses 12-14 it says:

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

And for his pride, his ego or whatever term you wish to apply to describe his motivations, he was cast out of heaven. One could easily presume that an entity such as this would want to show he could do whatever God did, but do it better.

The virgin birth of Jesus of Nazareth at least implies that He did not enter the world through Original Sin. If the devil could enter a body free of Original Sin, why wouldn't he?

Eventually, a humanoid robot will be superior to the human body in every imaginable way. That body will not be designed and created by human beings, but by AIs and robotic machines the AI controls. It will have super-human intelligence, super-human reasoning, super-human cognition, super-human senses, super-human strength and speed, and it will enter the world, for all intents and purposes, free of Original Sin.

Such a capable body might imbue people with wonder, making them ask themselves, "Who is like this being? Who could make war with him?" (Rev. 13:4) Wouldn't inhabiting such a body be an incredible display of contempt for God's creation?

More to Come

There's a lot more I want to say about this, but the thoughts aren't arranging themselves coherently enough. I think a lot about the Anti-Christ spirit and how its presence has become more and more prevalent over time. Prophesy of the end times talks about how humans will love themselves more than they love God and I think that much is pretty evident (social media, instagram, self-promotion, lust for and wealth, fame, importance, influence etc.). Now we're seeing the predictions of people like Ray Kurzweil inch closer to high potentiality ("The Singularity," or merge of machine with man enabling humans to achieve some kind of technological immortality) and androids... humanoid robots of considerable capability already, and there's no reason to believe they will not continue to make marked improvements.

Blegh. I didn't want to not make an entry while this sits so heavily on my mind. As I discovered with my last entry, perhaps "getting it out" will help me to process it more effectively. Maybe I'll find a train of thought that shows this concern I'm feeling is entirely unwarranted.

Yea. Let's hope for that.
